The Boston Celtics extended their winning streak to four games on Thursday night with a dominant 124-95 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center. Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 29 points, while Jaylen Brown added 23 points and 10 rebounds.
Mavs Struggle Despite Offseason Additions
The Mavericks, who acquired Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway Jr. in the offseason, struggled to keep pace with the Celtics. Porzingis finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Hardaway Jr. scored 15 points. However, the Mavericks' defense was unable to contain the Celtics' high-powered offense.
